Job Description
Aramark UK is currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join our team in Dishforth, Thirsk. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to become part of a supportive team, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site, ensuring all areas remain clean, safe, and presentable. Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning designated areas to a high standard
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Cleaning washrooms, communal areas, and workspaces
- Collecting and disposing of waste appropriately
- Replenishing cleaning supplies where required
- Reporting hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment defects
- Following cleaning schedules and company procedures
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Working independently and as part of a wider team

Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities

Compensation
Up to GBP 12.71 per hour
