Manor Multi Academy Trust – Manor Primary School
Cleaner
NJC Grade 2
15 hours per week – Term time plus 2 weeks
Monday – Friday – 3.30pm – 6:30pm
Manor Primary School are looking to appoint a reliable, flexible, and practical individual. The successful candidate will support our school in providing a clean, tidy, hygienic, safe, and well-maintained learning environment.
General Duties
- Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the school
- Maintaining security at all times to support and safeguard the welfare of all persons using the school premises
Requirements
- Fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the job
- Possess good individual and team skills
- Ready to deal with a variety of situations and challenges
- Flexible at all times
- Willing to work during school shutdown periods for deeper cleaning

Training
- Requirement to undertake training appropriate to the post
Additional Notes
- Annual leave must be taken during school holidays
- Previous experience of cleaning, safe use of chemicals, and using cleaning machinery would be desirable but isn’t essential as full training will be given
Application Process
At interview, candidates will be asked for photo identification and, where applicable, proof of qualifications. The appointment is also subject to the School receiving two satisfactory references.
