Location: Hereford – Gardener Hall
Hours: 12.5 per week
Salary: £12.76 an hour
Annual Leave: 26 Days annual leave rising to 31 after 5 years continuous employment
Closing Date: 14/08/2026
Interview Date: 17/08/2026 & 18/08/2026
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 4.30pm to 7pm
What You Will Get In Return
Hoople is looking to recruit 2 x cleaning operatives to be based in Hereford (Gardener Hall, Folly Lane) with immediate effect.
As a Cleaning Operative, you will carry out a variety of housekeeping tasks, safely and professionally and to a high standard.
Your Day-to-day Duties Will Include
- Cleaning of designated areas within a Council building.
- Mopping and sweeping floors
- Use of vacuum cleaners for the cleaning of carpets
- Cleaning desks and other furniture
- Cleaning of kitchenettes
- Cleaning of welfare facilities - washrooms
- Use of equipment and machinery and handling chemicals
- Empty waste bins, remove rubbish to collection areas
- Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
