Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Cleaner role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Cleaner will carry out daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, emptying bins, and maintaining washrooms and communal areas to agreed standards. The role includes performing deep cleans, end of tenancy cleans, and after builders cleans as required, following site-specific procedures and health and safety guidelines. The Cleaner will use appropriate cleaning products and equipment, follow instructions related to specialist or biohazard cleaning, and ensure that work areas are left safe and presentable. The position involves working to scheduled appointments, reporting any issues or maintenance needs, and communicating professionally with supervisors, clients, and team members.

- Strong general cleaning skills, including surface cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, and washroom sanitation.
- Experience or willingness to learn deep cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, and after builders cleaning methods.
- Understanding of basic health and safety practices, including safe use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to site-specific cleaning checklists and procedures.
- Good time management skills and reliability in attending scheduled shifts and appointments.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Professional conduct when working on client premises, with respectful and clear communication.
- Previous commercial, healthcare, care home, or biohazard cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Willingness to undergo background checks (such as DBS) and any required training for specialist or compliant cleaning.
