Cleaner Opportunity at AIS

Here at AIS, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Cleaner to join our Facilities and Operations team based in Solihull. You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

Working Hours

Your normal working hours will be 3 hours per day (4.30pm-7.30pm), completing 5 days out of 7. The core working days are Monday to Friday. Weekend shifts are minimal and are treated as additional rather than part of the standard week.

This equates to contracted hours of 15 per week.

Our venue, Cranmore Park is a dedicated large events space, providing exhibition halls, conference suites and meeting rooms.

Role Specifics

As our Cleaner you will report into the Housekeeping Supervisor and work apart of the Housekeeping Team to perform a variety of cleaning duties as part of the Housekeeping Team.

At the start of each shift, you will be allocated a different section of the venue that you will be responsible to clean. Attention to detail and a positive attitude a must.

Please note, that this role will involve manual lifting including vacuuming, mopping, carrying water buckets. You will receive manual handling training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas, Kitchen Toilets and Seating Areas
  • Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping within your allocated area
  • Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish within designated area
  • Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks as and when required
  • Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required to all equipment, Fixtures and fittings within your area and building
  • Stock and maintain supply room, notifying the Housekeeping supervisor when levels run low
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support the overall building housekeeping standards
  • Attend work-related training sessions as and when required
  • Understand the COSHH Regulations and ensure all chemicals are used according to instruction
