Hours of work

13 hours per week, between the hours of 15:30pm – 18:30pm to be confirmed on request

Working pattern

Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5 weeks to be worked in the school holidays)

(As the position is part-time & term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

About the Role

Laughton Community Primary School are looking to appoint a friendly and capable individual as our school cleaner.

We are looking for someone that would have:

  • An eye for detail and takes pride in the quality of their work
  • A clear understanding of the needs of a school
  • The ability to integrate well into a community and team
  • The ability to meet the school’s expectations on cleaning hygiene
  • The ability to prioritise their own workload and respond to unexpected needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferably some experience in cleaning and using cleaning machinery though training will be given
