Role Description
The Cleaner role at EveryonesCleaning is a full-time, on-site position based in the London area, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and preparing allocated Airbnb properties and short-term holiday lets to a consistently high standard, ensuring each property is ready for incoming guests.

Daily responsibilities include:
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas
- Dusting and vacuuming
- Mopping floors
- Sanitising high-touch surfaces
- Changing bed linen and towels
- Emptying bins
- Replenishing essential guest supplies where required

The role also involves checking the overall presentation of each property, identifying and reporting any damage, maintenance issues or missing items, and ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed within the agreed turnaround times.
The Cleaner will be expected to:
- Follow established cleaning checklists
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely
- Comply with relevant health, safety and hygiene standards
Close attention to detail is essential to ensure that every property meets the company’s quality standards and provides guests with a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment.
The successful candidate will work independently and, where necessary, alongside property managers and other cleaning team members to ensure properties are consistently maintained and ready for guest check-in.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in domestic, hospitality or professional cleaning, ideally within Airbnb properties, holiday lets, hotels or serviced accommodation.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, hygiene standards and the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures, including the safe handling and storage of cleaning materials and the reporting of hazards or maintenance issues.
- Ability to carry out detailed cleaning tasks, including bathroom and kitchen sanitisation, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and changing bed linen.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and property presentation.
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to complete cleaning tasks within agreed timeframes, particularly between guest check-out and check-in.
- Ability to undertake physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting cleaning equipment and handling linen.
- Good communication skills for liaising with colleagues, supervisors, property managers and, where necessary, guests.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and follow cleaning schedules, property-specific instructions and checklists.
- Flexibility to work across different properties and accommodate varying schedules, including weekends and bank holidays where required.
- Previous experience in short-term rental cleaning, housekeeping or property management is an advantage but is not essential.
