Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Cleaner role based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Cleaner will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, wiping surfaces, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and emptying bins in residential and/or commercial premises. Duties include using cleaning products and equipment safely, following company standards and checklists, and ensuring all assigned areas meet cleanliness and hygiene requirements. The role may involve working independently or as part of a small team, adhering to scheduled appointments, and communicating any issues or supply needs to the supervisor. Flexibility to work at different client locations within Newcastle Upon Tyne may be required.

- Previous experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping, or a strong willingness to learn and follow cleaning procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting light to moderate loads, and moving equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Dependable and punctual, with a professional attitude and respectful communication with clients and colleagues.
- Reliable transportation to reach various work sites in and around Newcastle Upon Tyne.
- Right to work in the UK; references or background checks may be requested.
