Job Title: Cleaning Operative
Contract: Permanent
Location: Leominster – Westfield and Sixth Form School
Hours: 10 hours per week (6.30pm to 8.30pm)
Annual Leave: To be taken during Term holidays
Salary: £12.76 per hour
Closing Date: 14th August 2026
Interview Dates: 17th August 2026
Duties
Hoople are looking to recruit a cleaning operative to be based at Westfield School, Leominster. As a Cleaning Operative, you will carry out a variety of housekeeping tasks, safely and professionally and to a high standard. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Cleaning of designated areas within the school
- Mopping and sweeping floors
- Use of vacuum cleaners for the cleaning of carpets
- Cleaning desks and other furniture
- Cleaning of kitchenettes
- Cleaning of welfare facilities - washrooms
- Use and handling chemicals
- Empty waste bins, remove rubbish to collection areas
- Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
