Salary
- Grade 1, SCP 3
- 12.5 hours per week (Wyke Regis Juniors - £7,476 pro rated per annum)
- 16.25 hours per week (Wyke Regis Infants - £9,719 pro rated per annum)
About the Role
We are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, cleaners to assist our current teams of staff responsible for the cleaning of the school premises at both Federation sites (Wyke Regis Infant School & Nursery and Wyke Regis Junior School). The successful candidates will assist in undertaking general cleaning duties providing a clean, hygienic and safe environment for learning and other school activities working within the Premises Team with direction from both the Site Manager and the Federation Business Manager.
Hours of Work
- Infant School: 3.15 pm to 6.30 pm
- Junior School: 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm
- Monday to Friday
- Deep cleaning days during the school holiday periods
Immediate Starts
The posts are for immediate starts, so any suitable applicants will be interviewed as and when they apply, rather than on a specific date.

Salary Details
- The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.
- The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.

- This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.

Safeguarding Checks
Wyke Regis Federation will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not be on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
