Cleaning and Laundry Assistant

Location: The Downs, Malvern (multi-site role, occasional work at a linked school)

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 20 hours, 52 weeks a year

Contract: Permanent

Our client is looking to appoint a Cleaning and Laundry Assistant as part of the Domestic Operations team.

About The Role

You will support the delivery of high standards of service across the site by providing a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout as part of a team. This will include but not limited to, classrooms, offices, boarding houses and bedrooms and the Sports Complex. This will include end of term cleans, summer lets, pre-season and re-setting of houses for the start of the academic year.

This is a multi-site role, primarily working at the main site. You may be required to work at a linked school on occasions.

The Role

  • 20 hours, 52 weeks a year
  • 06.00 am start time
  • Flexibility required with occasional weekend working

What We're Looking For

  • A can do attitude, and ability to understand instructions to complete work within the required timeframe either within the team or alone
  • Awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Be polite, friendly and professional
  • Punctual with good time management skills and a flexible approach to working hours
