Grade: 1
Salary: £25,501 to £25,967 pro rata, per annum
(plus Generous Staff Benefits Package)
(Initial salary placement will normally be on the first point of the scale and will increase by annual incremental progression)
16 hours x 40 weeks (Term Time)
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 6am to 9am
- Wednesday 6am to 10am

The Cleaning Assistant will work with the Team Leader Operations in the delivery of a common, efficient, and cost-effective cleaning service and to achieve and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the College’s buildings. The successful candidate will clean as appropriate all surfaces, furnishings, and fittings using the specified equipment and cleaning products.

Key Requirements
- Basic understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act
- Experience of providing cleaning services within a non-domestic environment
- Experience of using a variety of cleaning/equipment and products
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, staff, students, and members of the public
