About The Role

As a Cleaning & Facilities Coordinator, you'll support the Facilities team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, waste management, and facilities services across the Wade Road Manufacturing Plant and Distribution Centre. You'll play an important role in advancing our mission by helping to provide a safe, clean, and professional working environment, while coordinating cleaning supplies and consumables, maintaining the eMaint system for facilities-related work requests and activities, supporting cleaning audits, and collaborating with talented colleagues to deliver meaningful results for our customers, partners, and communities.

What You'll Do

• Safety Culture - Promote a strong safety-first culture by complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements, using PPE correctly, reporting hazards, and maintaining safe working practices at all times.
• Spill Response - Respond promptly to spills, leaks, and contamination incidents by following site spill response procedures, containing hazards where safe to do so, and minimising risks to people, operations, product quality, and the environment.
• Quality - Deliver a consistently high standard of cleaning and hygiene across all areas of the site, ensuring customer expectations, service requirements, and quality standards are achieved. Maintain compliance within quality-controlled areas by following site-specific cleaning procedures and standards designed to protect product integrity and support operational requirements. Take pride in the presentation of the workplace, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
• Facilities Administration - Maintain facilities work orders within the eMaint system.
• Manage cleaning Kanban stock levels, and order cleaning supplies and hygiene consumables as required.
• Standard Work - Deliver routine and deep cleaning activities in line with established schedules and procedures, ensuring all areas remain clean, hygienic, safe, and presentable while managing waste streams in accordance with site and environmental requirements.
• Daily Gemba Walks - Conduct proactive workplace audits to identify cleanliness, housekeeping, safety, quality, or maintenance concerns, taking appropriate action and escalating issues where necessary to support continuous improvement across the site.
• Equipment Operation - Complete training and maintain competency on all cleaning equipment, machinery, and tools required for the role, ensuring they are operated safely, effectively, and in accordance with company procedures. Maintain equipment in good working order and promptly report any defects or maintenance requirements.
