Location: Tesco, Park Avenue, Aberystwyth, SY23 1PB
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week
Days: Monday to Saturday
Shift: 5:00am – 11:00am
Start Date: Immediate

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Manager to oversee the cleaning operation at a busy Tesco site in Aberystwyth.

This is a hands-on management position, and we are looking for someone with previous managerial or supervisory experience within facilities management, cleaning or a similar environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day cleaning operation, ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard at all times.

Duties will include:

  • Managing and supervising the on-site cleaning team
  • Allocating daily duties and ensuring all areas are covered
  • Monitoring cleaning standards and completing site checks
  • Supporting with cleaning duties when required
  • Managing staff attendance, performance and productivity
  • Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are available and used correctly
  • Maintaining health and safety standards
  • Reporting any issues or maintenance concerns
  • Liaising with the client and dealing with any site requirements
  • Ensuring the cleaning operation runs efficiently throughout each shift

  • Previous managerial or supervisory experience within facilities management is essential

  • Able to work 5:00am – 11:00am, Monday to Saturday
