Location: Canon Court, Abbey Lawn, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, SY2 5DE
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (PAYE)
Hours:
Monday to Friday
4:30pm – 6:45pm
11.25 hours per week
Contract:
Temporary to Permanent

About the Role
We are recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work at a modern commercial office in Shrewsbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking part-time evening work with the opportunity to secure permanent employment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness while working independently in a professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • General office cleaning
  • Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
  • Cleaning desks, workstations and touch points
  • Cleaning kitchens and staff welfare facilities
  • Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the site
  • Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
  • Working safely in accordance with all site procedures

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
  • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working as a lone worker where required
  • Comfortable acting as a key holder and using an alarm system where applicable
  • Good communication skills
  • Right to work in the UK
