About The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the vibrant, fast-paced environment of Food Central at Fosse Park Shopping Centre in Leicester as a part of the House Keeping Team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar retail environment or the hospitality sector. The successful applicant will be responsible for the cleaning and presentation of Food Central as part of a busy team consisting of 11 part-time staff.
If you have outstanding customer service, proven organizational skills, good cleaning skills, a keen eye for detail in a customer-facing role, with a drive & passion for retail then we would like you to apply to join the team.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- The cleaning of all areas of the building including public area spaces, public toilets and communal areas, stairwells, kitchens (plus other ad hoc areas) and ensuring areas are cleaned to the required standards and standards are maintained at all times
- You will be required to complete all training as required to deliver your role. Training will be provided to support you in effectively delivering your role
- Deep cleaning of areas as required, full training will be provided to support
- Completion of equipment checks, stock requests and all other processes required to support you in effectively delivering your role. Experience operating a floor scrubber machine would be an advantage

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
- A team player
- Excellent communicator at all levels
- Have a good working knowledge of Health & Safety & COSHH
- Desirable to have experience in cleaning or be willing to learn
- You must be customer-driven, with the ability to work well in a team
- Communication skills are key, in order to ensure successful service delivery
- A smart phone is required to use our Timegate Time and Attendance system to pin in and out onsite when you are scheduled to work. There may also be tasks allocated to you which will require you to use the Timegate app i.e. to record cleaning entries and any other such duties as required
