Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Cleaning Operative role based in London. The Cleaning Operative will carry out daily cleaning tasks in communal, commercial, and residential areas, including:
- Dusting
- Mopping
- Sweeping
- Vacuuming
- Sanitising surfaces and facilities

- End-of-tenancy cleaning
Following company procedures and health and safety guidelines, the role involves:
- Working to agreed schedules
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation
The Cleaning Operative will interact professionally with clients and colleagues while following COSHH and manual handling practices as trained.
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial cleaning and communal area cleaning, with the ability to follow set routines and standards.
- Skills in window cleaning, including safe use of appropriate tools and equipment.
- Experience in home and house cleaning, with attention to detail in kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning and basic floor care techniques.
- Understanding of health and safety practices, including COSHH and manual handling, and willingness to follow company procedures.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a professional, courteous approach to clients and colleagues.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in cleaning or property services in London or similar urban environments is beneficial.
