Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am – 10:30am
- 7.5 hours per week
Contract: Temporary Holiday Cover
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work within a secure banking environment in Newtownards.
This is a part-time holiday cover opportunity, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and is comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- General office cleaning
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning desks, workstations and touch points
- Cleaning kitchens and staff welfare facilities
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
- Working safely and following all site procedures

Candidate Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working as a lone worker where required
- Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating an alarm system where applicable
- Good attention to detail
- Right to work in the UK
Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to complete:
- Right to Work verification
- Employment history checks where required by the client
- Site security and compliance checks
