Location: Kew Retail Park, Bessant Drive, South Richmond, TW9 4AD
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Average 37 hours per week
Shifts
- Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 08:00 and 09:30 - 13:30
- Sunday: 09:00 - 16:00
Requirement: Own transport required
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at Kew Retail Park, TW9 4AD.
Working as part of a professional facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the retail park, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers, tenants, and visitors. This is a hands-on outdoor and indoor cleaning role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently.

Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining external tarmac areas
- Removing all waste from the retail park and surrounding areas
- Litter picking throughout the retail park
- Emptying bins and replacing liners (approximately 10 waste receptacles)
- Mopping floors within the retail centre
- Keeping public areas clean, tidy, and presentable
- Operating leaf blowers during relevant seasonal periods
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
- Ensuring site cleanliness standards are consistently maintained
- Carrying out any additional ad hoc cleaning duties as required
What We're Looking For
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous cleaning or facilities experience is desirable but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Own transport is essential due to location and shift times
