Location: Medical Unit, Asda Inverness, Ivanhoe Avenue, Inverness, IV2 6BZ
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (PAYE)
Start Date: 9th August 2026
End Date: 24th August 2026
Hours: 12 hours per week
Shift: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Working Days: Monday to Friday and Sunday (No work on Saturdays)
Contract Type: Temporary
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to work at a medical unit located within Asda Inverness.
This temporary role runs from 9th August to 24th August 2026 and involves maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic healthcare environment to a high standard. You will work independently for 2-hour shifts across six days each week.

Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of the medical unit
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning treatment rooms, staff areas and communal areas
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
- Following all health and safety and infection control procedures
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
Candidate Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred
- Experience cleaning healthcare or medical environments is advantageous
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Available to work from 9th August to 24th August 2026
- Able to work Monday to Friday and Sunday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
- Right to work in the UK
