About The Role

GRAHAM FM is one of the leading providers of property related Asset Management. It provides a full range of property management services to both the public and private sectors. Due to the success and expansion of the business, we are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, dynamic individual who will contribute to the team meeting challenging business targets.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the candidate will be responsible for cleaning. The individual will work as part of the Facilities Management Team but must demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative.

Location: Belfast Metropolitan College

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8pm - 4.30am, Friday: 3pm - 11.30pm (40hrs)

Contract: Full time, Permanent

The Cleaning Operative Shall

  • Sweep, suction clean, mop, dry buff, spray clean, spray wax, machine scrub and dry, strip and re-polish floors using appropriate equipment
  • Clean and remove stains of soft floor surfaces (carpets/matting) using the appropriate cleaning method
  • Clean body fluids/solids from time to time using the appropriate cleaning method
  • Use and care for any cleaning equipment issued in an appropriate and safe manner
  • Complete all necessary paperwork
  • Any other reasonable duties required by the Facilities Manager to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the contract
  • Clean toilet and shower areas including the fixtures and fittings and replenish toiletries
  • Clean, wash and dust ledges, walls, fixtures, fittings and internal surfaces. Polishing furniture where appropriate
  • Empty and clean internal litter bins and remove litter to the designated collection points
