About The Role:

As a cleaning operative, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable, vibrant, and top-tier workplace for our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Cleaning operative is responsible but not limited to maintaining cleanliness throughout their designated area.
- Clean desks, IT equipment and chairs.
- Clean all glass within reach, signs and displays.
- Clean and restock of toilets.
- Clean tea bay areas.
- Clean restaurant area.
- Periodical deep cleaning.
- Detailed cleaning: skirting boards, fire extinguishers etc.
- Remove rubbish and vacuum carpets in office areas, meeting rooms.
- Maintain a neat appearance of cleaning equipment, storage areas and uniform.
- Return all lost and found items to central cube locations.
- Practice safety standards at all times. RAMS and COSHH understood and followed.
- Clean up spills immediately.
- Any maintenance issues to be reported to supervisor, helpdesk or maintenance team.
- To pass on all information relevant to business to supervisor e.g., maintenance issues, special requirements and requests from client etc.
- Follow procedures for all waste disposal and recycling.
- Undertake other duties, which may be allocated from time to time as requested by your supervisor or manager.
- All tasks to be completed too high standard and work to be audited.

Skills and Abilities (Competencies):
- Understanding of RAMS and COSHH
- Understanding of spoken and written English
- Good Timekeeping
- Flexible and proactive approach
- Ownership of tasks given
- Ability to work on your own and with team
- High standards
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning preferred
- Additional relevant certifications or training preferred
- DBS checked (covered by OCS)
