Location: Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 1FD
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00pm – 7:00pm, plus Saturday 2:00pm – 6:00pm (14 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (PAYE)

Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work within a secure banking environment in Horsham, West Sussex. This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity offering regular part-time hours and the potential for long-term employment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation while working independently and ensuring all security procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general cleaning duties throughout the banking premises
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floor areas
- Cleaning desks, workstations, and high-touch surfaces
- Cleaning kitchens, welfare areas, and communal spaces
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly

Candidate Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Comfortable working alone within a secure environment
- Must be willing to act as a key holder and operate alarm systems where required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
- Good communication skills
- Right to work in the UK

Mandatory Requirements
Successful candidates must:
- Be comfortable using a telephone-based time and attendance system
- Be able to work as a lone worker
- Be willing to act as a key holder
- Be comfortable operating alarm systems
- Provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction
- Provide valid photographic identification prior to commencing work
