Outset - Cleaning Position
Location: Outset, Sankey Street, Warrington, WA1 1NN
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm–8:30pm
Free on-site parking available
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking Evening Cleaner to join our team at Outset, a modern commercial business centre located in the heart of Warrington.
Outset provides high-quality office and workspace accommodation to a variety of businesses and professionals. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, welcoming and professional environment for everyone who works in or visits the building.
This is an important role within the centre, as you will help ensure that the offices, communal spaces and facilities are kept to a high standard each evening and are ready for tenants and visitors the following day.
The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail and is able to work independently and efficiently.
The Role
As our Evening Cleaner, you will be responsible for the general cleaning and presentation of the business centre.
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning office areas and communal workspaces
- Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard flooring
- Cleaning kitchens and kitchenette areas
- Cleaning and maintaining washrooms
- Emptying bins and replacing bin liners
- Wiping down desks, surfaces, doors and touchpoints
- Cleaning internal glass where required
- Dusting furniture, fixtures and fittings
- Restocking toilet rolls, hand soap and other supplies
- Keeping corridors, stairwells and communal areas tidy
- Ensuring entrances and reception areas remain presentable
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or low stock levels to management
- Carrying out occasional deeper cleaning tasks as required

You will be working within a professional commercial environment, so maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation is important.
About You
We are looking for someone who is dependable and takes genuine pride in keeping a workplace clean and presentable.
You should be:
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and self-motivated
- Friendly and approachable
- Professional when working around tenants and visitors
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Organised and able to manage your workload efficiently
- Thorough, with good attention to detail
- Comfortable carrying out routine cleaning duties
- Able to identify and report any issues around the building
Previous experience in office, commercial or business-centre cleaning would be beneficial, although this is not essential if you have the right attitude and work ethic.

Working Hours
The role is currently based around:
- Monday to Friday
- 4:00pm–8:30pm
Please note that these hours equate to approximately 22.5 hours per week. Hours may increase over time in line with building occupancy and the arrival of new businesses and tenants.
