Salary: £25,214 per annum (hourly rate of £13.85 per hour)

The Department
Our Facilities and Estates Department are responsible for looking after our facilities across all our sites – Villa Park, Bodymoor Heath Training Ground, and our Brookvale Inner City Academy. At our Club, every detail matters and this team is vital in making sure the details are right and that our day-to-day operations and matchdays can happen as well as supporting our major redevelopment work across all our sites as we continue our rapid growth trajectory both on and off the pitch.
The Role
We have some exciting opportunities for Cleaning Services Operatives to join our teams based at Villa Park and Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. We have several different contracts available as follows:
- Full Time - 35 hours a week across a variety of different shifts
- Bodymoor Heath Training Ground: This will be between 6am-2pm / 9am – 5pm or 2pm – 10pm with a rota for weekend working
- Villa Park: This will generally be between 8am – 4pm

As part of our Cleaning Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring all areas of our Club are maintained to the highest standards, creating a world-class environment every day and directly contributing to a positive experience for our supporters, staff, players, and visitors.

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties, including but not limited to maintaining offices, communal areas, bathrooms, and matchday facilities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, to a consistently high standard in line with our health and safety protocols. You will also support pre and post-match operations, helping to ensure Villa Park is ready to welcome all.

The Person
You must be a proactive and reliable individual who takes ownership of their work and has a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a Cleaning Services Operative role. You will need to be comfortable carrying out physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and being on your feet for extended periods.
You will need to be able to work independently within the wider team and provide excellent customer service, being professional and approachable.
An essential part of this role will be being available and willing to work flexible hours as the Club requires across a variety of shift patterns.
