We're looking for a Cleaning Site Manager to join our team.
At Compass Group UK & Ireland, we know that clean, safe, and welcoming environments make a real difference to our clients and their customers. We're looking for an experienced Cleaning Site Manager to lead a professional cleaning operation, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, compliance, and team engagement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused leader who is passionate about operational excellence and takes pride in delivering outstanding results.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the day-to-day cleaning operation across the site
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team of cleaning colleagues
- Ensuring all cleaning standards, audits, and quality expectations are achieved
- Maintaining compliance with health & safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- Managing labour, consumables, and operational budgets effectively
- Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Conducting team briefings, training, and performance reviews
- Responding proactively to client feedback and continuously seeking service improvements
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention of team members
- Ensuring equipment and cleaning resources are maintained to the required standard

Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a cleaning management role
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to engage and develop teams
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Experience managing cleaning standards, audits, and compliance requirements
- Good financial awareness, including labour and budget management
- A customer-focused approach and commitment to service excellence
- Knowledge of health & safety and cleaning best practice
