At 14forty, we believe exceptional facilities management starts with exceptional service. We're looking for an experienced Cleaning Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the development, improvement and innovation of cleaning services across our diverse portfolio of client contracts.

What You'll Be Doing
As our Cleaning SME, you'll work closely with operational leaders, clients and the senior leadership team to enhance performance and deliver best-in-class cleaning solutions.
You'll
- Lead and support the delivery of 14forty's cleaning strategy across the sector.
- Act as the technical and operational expert for cleaning services across multiple client contracts.
- Support contract mobilisations, transformations, service reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and embed standard operating procedures, auditing frameworks and performance measures.
- Drive operational consistency, productivity improvements and service excellence across the business.
- Conduct site assessments, benchmarking exercises and operational reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Champion innovation, introducing new technologies, robotics, digital solutions and smarter ways of working.
- Support bids, tenders and solution design activity with specialist cleaning expertise.
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships, helping drive retention, growth and customer satisfaction.
- Promote sustainable cleaning practices and support the delivery of ESG objectives across the sector.
- Coach and develop operational teams, sharing best practice and building cleaning capability throughout the business.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly credible cleaning professional with a strong track record of delivering results across complex, multi-site environments.
You'll Bring
- Significant senior-level experience within contract cleaning, facilities management or a technical cleaning consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning methodologies, service delivery models, productivity and workforce management.
- Proven experience driving operational excellence across multiple sites or contracts.
- Experience developing and implementing SOPs, quality frameworks and best practice standards.
- A strong understanding of compliance, auditing and performance management.
- Experience supporting mobilisations, tenders, client presentations and retention activities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
- A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Desirable
- BiCS Assessor, Licence to Practice or equivalent industry qualification.
- Experience implementing cleaning technology, automation, robotics or digital solutions.
- Understanding of sustainability and ESG principles within FM environments.
- Active involvement with BiCS or other relevant industry bodies.
- Experience presenting at industry events, customer forums or conferences.
