The Opportunity
Global Highland are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our client’s team in Inverness on a permanent basis.
Working closely with the Contract Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services, ensuring high standards are maintained and providing support to clients, employees and suppliers.
This is a varied and hands-on position suited to an experienced Cleaning Supervisor who is organised, confident dealing with people and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Contract Manager with the day-to-day running of cleaning contracts.
- Supervising and supporting cleaning staff to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.
- Liaising professionally with clients and responding to queries or requests.
- Communicating with employees, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Providing support with payroll administration, including timesheets and relevant employee information.
- Assisting with staff scheduling, attendance and general workforce coordination.
- Carrying out site visits and inspections as required.
- Helping to ensure company procedures, health and safety requirements and cleaning standards are followed.
- Using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications for general administration and reporting.
- Supporting the Contract Manager with any other operational requirements.

Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous Cleaning Supervisor or Cleaning Management experience.
- A full manual driving licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients, employees and suppliers.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy, with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- The flexibility to respond to the needs of the contract and workforce.
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach.
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider team.
