Cleaning Supervisor

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire

Salary: £15.25 per hour

Contract: Full time, permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday

Shift Options: 5:00am to 3:00pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm

Working Pattern: 52 weeks per year

Experience Required: Previous cleaning and supervisory experience

Start Date: September 2026


Lead From the Front

Claires Court is recruiting two Cleaning Supervisors to work across its three schools in Maidenhead.

This is a hands on supervisory role, leading and supporting the cleaning team while also taking an active part in the cleaning operation.

Two Shift Patterns Are Available

  • 5:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday

What You’ll Be Doing

You Will

  • Supervise and support the cleaning team
  • Allocate work and monitor cleaning standards
  • Work hands on alongside the team
  • Train and induct new staff
  • Manage cleaning stock, materials and equipment
  • Ensure COSHH, PPE and health and safety procedures are followed
  • Complete relevant checks and basic administration
  • Report faults, hazards and maintenance issues
  • Work closely with school and site teams

  • Comfortable maintaining high standards

  • Familiar with cleaning products, equipment and COSHH
  • A clear and supportive communicator
