Are you an experienced Cleaning Supervisor or Cleaning Manager looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work at one permanent, in-store site where you can take ownership of the cleaning operation and lead a small team?
We are currently recruiting for an experienced In-Store Cleaning Manager to join a fantastic team based at a busy retail site in Stroud.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in commercial or retail cleaning who enjoys being hands-on, leading a team and taking pride in delivering consistently high standards. You'll be responsible for managing a team of around 5 cleaners, overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operation and ensuring the store is maintained to a high standard.
The Working Pattern
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
- 4:00am - 11:00am

Your Role
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services within the store
- Leading, supporting and motivating a team of around 5 cleaners
- Ensuring the store is consistently cleaned and maintained to a high standard
- Carrying out regular quality checks and inspections
- Managing rotas, holidays, attendance and day-to-day staffing requirements
- Supporting with recruitment, training and development of team members
- Remaining hands-on and supporting with cleaning duties when required
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and products are used correctly
- Building strong relationships with the store management team
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures and company policies are followed
- Taking ownership of any issues and ensuring they are resolved quickly and effectively

About You
- Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, Cleaning Manager, Team Leader or similar
- Experience managing a small cleaning team
- Ideally a background in retail, commercial or in-store cleaning
- A hands-on approach and willingness to support the team when required
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Organised, reliable and able to take ownership of a busy site
- Good attention to detail and high standards
- Confident communicating with both your team and site management
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and cleaning procedures
- Comfortable working early mornings and Sundays
