Position: Cleaning Supervisor

Location

First Bus Lowestoft, Gas Works Road, Lowestoft, NR32 1UZ

Contracted Hours

39 per week - permanent position

Shifts

5 days over 7, 4pm-12:30am

Hourly Rate

£14.79 per hour

Annual Salary

Approx. £29,994 per annum

About The Role

Do you take pride in keeping things spotless and running smoothly? Join our energetic team of Cleaners, Engineers, and Maintenance staff who keep our fleet in top condition. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in making sure our vehicles are ready to hit the road each day at our busy Lowestoft depot.

For helping keep our fleet on the road, you'll earn a good hourly payrate and great rewards & benefits (see below).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist with planning the rota, duty and shift allocations of a team of 7 staff
  • Assisting with the internal and external cleaning of buses and depot premises with the use of specialist equipment and chemicals
  • Assist with fuelling, oiling, watering, shunting and parking of vehicles
  • Complete cleaning records, cover shifts, quality control audits on cleaners
  • To adhere to the Health and Safety at work policy, ensuring protective clothing is used properly at all times and appropriate practices and procedures are always followed

About You

  • A full UK driving license is a requirement of this role as you will be required to park and manoeuvre vehicles around the depot
  • At least 6 months of cleaning experience, confident using cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Must have supervisory experience
  • A PCV licence isn't essential, we can support you in gaining it
