FM2U Facilities Management provides comprehensive commercial facilities management services that help businesses operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

The company offers a wide range of services, including grounds maintenance, office cleaning, kitchen extraction cleaning, property care, and full building management. We have a speciality division within construction and deliver building site cleans for a number of renowned house builders.

As a trusted partner for end-to-end FM solutions, FM2U focuses on keeping environments compliant, well-maintained, and consistently operational, creating clean and safe workplaces for clients and their teams.

Role Description

The Cleaning Supervisor is a full-time, on-site, hands-on role, based in the North-West of England. This role is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, coordinating cleaning staff schedules, and ensuring that all areas are cleaned to agreed standards and in line with health and safety regulations.

The Cleaning Supervisor will monitor performance, manage cleaning supplies and equipment, and address any issues or service requests from clients or internal stakeholders. The role includes training and guiding cleaning staff, implementing quality control procedures, and maintaining accurate records of work completed, incidents, and compliance checks. The Cleaning Supervisor will also collaborate with the wider facilities management team to support smooth, efficient, and reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

  • CSCS CARD ESSENTIAL

  • FULL DRIVING LICENSE ESSENTIAL

  • SSSTS PREFERRED

  • Proven experience in cleaning supervision or a similar role within commercial or industrial facilities.

  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, equipment, and health and safety standards.

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team, with sound people management and communication skills.

  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Experience conducting site inspections, quality control checks, and reporting on cleaning performance and compliance.

  • Basic computer skills for completing reports, using scheduling tools, and communicating with clients and internal teams.

  • Ability to work on-site, adapt to changing operational needs, and respond promptly to service requests or incidents.

  • Relevant certification or training in occupational health and safety, cleaning services, or facilities management is an advantage.

  • Reliable transport to and from North-West, and willingness to work flexible hours as required.
