Mobile Evening Cleaning Supervisor

Location: Based in Burton-on-Trent, travelling across our catchment area (Burton-on-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Lichfield, Tamworth, Ashby and all areas in-between)

Salary: £30,000 - 32,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours: Full-time, 2pm–10pm Monday–Friday, out of hours phone calls every other weekend

Other Info:

  • Includes shared company vehicle and mobile phone
  • The company vehicle is kept at DE14 in Burton-on-Trent and will need to be collected to start your shift and dropped off after the shift, it cannot be kept at your home address overnight.
  • You must be comfortable with travelling in the evening across our catchment area (see above).

The Role:

Spotless Cleaning is a well-established, family-run commercial cleaning company with a proud 18-year history of delivering high standards and trusted service across the East Midlands. Due to continued growth, we’re recruiting for a Mobile Evening Cleaning Supervisor to support our cleaning team across the Midlands and ensure consistent quality across our sites.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for cleaning team calls between 2pm and 10pm (e.g. sickness, shift issues)
  • Driving to client sites to conduct cleaning audits, quality checks and support visits for our cleaning team, this will be across our full catchment area
  • Conducting trial cleaning sessions with candidates and giving feedback to the Operations Team
  • Providing settling-in training sessions for new cleaners and feeding back to the management team
  • Attending a weekly team meeting at our Head Office in Burton-on-Trent to discuss site visits, client issues etc…
  • Meeting with team members to offer coaching or address performance concerns (no disciplinaries required)
  • Reporting to and working closely with our Cleaning Manager to maintain standards and improve the service we deliver to our clients
  • Cover for out-of-hours phone calls every other weekend: this will include answering phone calls from the cleaning team every other weekend, but you are not expected to visit any sites at the weekend. Please note, we do not clean a lot of sites over a weekend so calls are minimal. If time spent on the phone exceeds 30 mins TOIL/additional pay is available.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Someone with experience in the cleaning industry, ideally in a mobile or supervisory role as being comfortable with travel is very important
  • A strong communicator who can handle calls and problem-solve with confidence
  • A calm and professional approach when supporting team members
  • Someone organised, reliable, and able to work independently
  • A reliable and committed individual who is willing to clean where necessary to support our cleaning team and ensure client satisfaction
  • A full UK driving licence is essential, willingness to travel across our catchment area in a company vehicle
