Role
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Campus Services team, working on our city campus to help fulfil our commitment to providing a quality cleaning service to the academic environment.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaning Team Leader to join our team. As part of Estates and Facilities, you will help create a positive environment that supports the learning, teaching, and research activities of the University.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, pride in your work and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential. You will work as part of a supportive team to maintain the University's buildings to the highest standards, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and welcoming for our diverse community and focuses on the student experience.
As a Cleaning Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Cleaners in this busy and varied role incorporating all duties related to both general and reactive cleaning, assistance with ceremonies and corporate events and ensuring all buildings are maintained to the highest standard to enhance our facilities for all students, staff and visitors.

Ideal Candidate
We Are Looking For An Individual Who:
- Has previous supervisory experience
- Has previous cleaning experience
- Is able to work on your own initiative
- Has knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety
- Takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Are reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Demonstrates a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Has good communication skills.
- Are willing to undertake training and development as required.
The position is part of a large team on campus, working within allocated university buildings. You will be required to work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 5:00-8:00pm.
The salary shown will be pro-rated down to reflect the part-time hours.
