Clear & Clean Operative
We are currently looking for a Clear & Clean Operative to join our estate services team in this new role. As a Clear & Clean Operative, you will be responsible for conducting property clearances, performing final cleans, and carrying out garden work as necessary to prepare our empty homes.

This role is 2 days per week, working Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm and Friday from 8:00am to 3:30pm. It's a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time hours while still being part of a supportive team.

- Preparing empty homes by conducting property clearances, final cleans, and garden work as necessary
- Performing a range of waste management tasks, ensuring proper sorting and recycling of waste streams, and identifying furniture that can be upcycled to our Re-Use offer
- Collecting deliveries and ensuring the cleanliness and obstruction-free status of the depot
- Motivating staff, volunteers/placements, trainees, and apprentices to provide high-quality customer-focused service
- Supporting all areas of the department, including Mobile Cleaning, Estate Services Team, and Grounds Maintenance, as directed
- Delivering great services and maintaining clear and simple communication with residents
- Taking ownership of residents' issues and striving for high customer satisfaction
- Working to the highest standards of health and safety, promoting a positive safety-first culture
- Ensuring compliance with risk assessment, COSHH framework, industry legislation, and conducting basic checks, servicing, and maintenance of equipment
We are looking for someone who has...
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- Practical experience of Cleaning or Caretaking
- Experience working in a customer-orientated environment, with a flexible approach to working hours
- Knowledge of and ability to operate relevant cleaning/caretaking equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and specific site safety
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy for accurate record keeping
