About the Role

The Radiology Department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our admin team based in the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

The post will also involve working as part of our reception team encompassing all the departments of the Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide an optimum level of customer service to patients, both in person and over the telephone, and to other users of the service.
  • Input and extract data onto the patient administration system (PAS) and the departmental CRIS system (Computerised Radiology Information System).
  • Search the patient database for existing records, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Reception duties for all areas of the Radiology department, including enquiries from medical staff, other hospitals, GP’s and members of the public.
  • Dealing with telephone and direct communication enquiries from the public and other health professions.
  • Co-operation with and provision of assistance where necessary to all medical, nursing and other hospital staff.
