MY Sofa Covers Ltd is a growing company specialising in the manufacture of quality, made-to-measure sofa covers and curtains. We are looking for an organised, reliable and friendly Clerical Support / Sales Administrator to join our team.
This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day running of the business and warehouse as well as supporting sister companies within the group. You will be dealing with customers, suppliers, deliveries and internal departments, helping to ensure that orders move smoothly from quotation through to completion and delivery.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and sending customer quotations.
- Dealing with customer enquiries and queries by telephone and email.
- Processing customer orders and keeping records up to date.
- Liaising with customers regarding orders, measurements, fabrics and delivery arrangements.
- Arranging and coordinating customer deliveries and fitting services.
- Booking in and receiving incoming goods and materials.
- Checking deliveries against orders and dealing with any discrepancies.
- Raising and following up supplier queries.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and lead times.
- Updating customers on the progress of their orders.
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and computer records.
- Providing general administrative and clerical support to the business and other businesses within the group.
- Assisting other members of the team with day-to-day office and production administration.

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with good attention to detail.
- Confident speaking to customers and suppliers.
- Friendly, professional and approachable.
- Good computer skills, using excel, word and outlook and other software.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise their workload.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- A good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Someone who takes pride in getting things right and providing excellent customer service.
Previous experience in an administration, customer service, sales support, purchasing or manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but we are more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude and attention to detail.

What We Offer

- 39 hours working week, working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday with a 30 min lunch break and 8am to 1pm Fridays, we are happy to be flexible on hours if required.
- Holiday entitlement, 24 days plus 8 bank holidays.
