Job Description

Term Time (190 days) + 3 weeks

20 hours per week

Pro-rata salary £14,669 to £15,405 per annum (NJC 14 - 17)

About the Role

The Remarkable Group has been established for over 50 years, providing the highest quality services for autistic young people. Wargrave House School (ages 5 - 16) & Ascent College (ages 16 - 25) operate a non-maintained special school and independent specialist college with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding education and care to Autistic young people.

Our mission is to provide a world where autistic people live happy and fulfilled lives. We support and educate autistic people throughout their lives and redefine what’s possible by providing innovative and transformative services. We have an ambitious five-year plan to achieve our objectives and are looking for values driven individuals to contribute to these future successes.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organised, professional and proactive Clerk to Trustees and Governors to provide high-quality governance and administrative support across Remarkable Autism. The successful candidate will support the Board of Trustees, and governance committees by ensuring meetings are effectively planned and administered, agendas and papers are prepared, accurate minutes are produced, and governance records are maintained in line with statutory, regulatory requirements.

Working closely with Trustees, Governors, senior leaders and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in promoting effective governance, ensuring compliance, and supporting robust decision-making across Remarkable Autism. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Recruitment Process
