Reporting to: Operations Team Lead

Location: Exeter (In-Office)

Salary: from £26,000 plus a competitive uncapped bonus package

Turn enquiries into solutions. And solutions into bookings.

Are you naturally good with people, commercially minded and motivated by getting a result?

As a Client Accommodation Consultant at Situ, you'll take ownership of live client enquiries from businesses looking for serviced accommodation around the world.

This isn't a traditional sales role. You'll need to understand what your client really needs, find the right accommodation solution and use your communication, relationship-building and commercial skills to turn opportunities into successful bookings.

That might mean picking up the phone to explore a client's requirements, recommending the option you think works best, negotiating a better rate with one of our property partners or following up proactively to help move a booking forward.

You'll be delivering brilliant service — but with a clear commercial outcome in mind.

What you'll be doing

You'll manage client enquiries from initial request through to booking, taking ownership of both the relationship and the outcome.

You'll:

  • Respond quickly and proactively to new client enquiries, working within agreed SLAs
  • Speak directly with clients to understand their requirements, priorities and pressures
  • Recommend and influence the right accommodation solutions rather than simply providing quotations
  • Build strong relationships with client bookers and understand their preferences and booking behaviours
  • Develop effective relationships with our global property partners
  • Negotiate rates, terms and availability to deliver value for the client while protecting Situ's margin
  • Proactively follow up opportunities and work towards agreed conversion and performance targets
  • Work closely with our Commercial, Partner and Guest Care teams to support account growth and deliver a seamless booking journey
  • Take ownership of the solution, the relationship at booking stage and the booking outcome

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who are we looking for?

You don't need years of sales experience or experience within serviced accommodation. You do need to enjoy talking to people, building relationships and turning an opportunity into a result.

You'll probably thrive in this role if you:

  • are confident picking up the phone and starting conversations
  • enjoy working towards targets and seeing measurable results
  • are naturally curious and ask good questions to understand what someone really needs
  • can build rapport and influence decisions without using a hard-sales approach
  • are proactive and comfortable following up rather than waiting for things to happen
  • have some commercial instinct and enjoy getting the best possible outcome
  • can balance pace with accuracy and attention to detail
  • take ownership and accountability for your work
  • enjoy being part of a collaborative team while being motivated by your own performance

You may already have experience in sales, recruitment, lettings or estate agency, travel sales or reservations, account management, hospitality or events sales, or another customer-facing role where you've worked towards targets, converted opportunities or influenced purchasing decisions.

Just as importantly, you might be looking for your first real step into a commercial career and have the drive and confidence we're looking for. We'll give you the training, tools and support to develop.
