Client Account Coordinator

A strong client relationship is protected in hundreds of small moments: an update passed on correctly, a question raised before it becomes a problem and a commitment completed when promised. The Client Account Coordinator helps create that reliability. This opportunity suits someone who wants to turn strong organisation and communication into credible account and campaign experience.

Previous agency work is not essential. You may have developed relevant skills through administration, reception, hospitality, retail, customer service, events or supporting a project where several people depended on accurate information. The value of that experience lies in what you did, not the title printed on your contract.

The promise to the client

Sage delivers face-to-face campaigns on behalf of established brands. You will learn the purpose of an assigned account, the approved customer proposition and the standards that must be maintained. When information changes, you will check that you understand the update and apply it consistently.

Your records and observations will contribute to the wider campaign picture. This could include noting recurring customer questions, confirming the status of an allocated action or preparing clear information for a review. You will not independently negotiate client contracts, approve campaign changes or make commitments on the client's behalf.

As your knowledge develops, you may assist with preparation for account discussions and see how campaign information becomes a useful client update. Trust is built by providing specific, accurate information rather than broad impressions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The promise to the customer

Part of the position involves speaking with prospective customers in person. You will establish what they need, explain the relevant service using approved information and support them through the appropriate next steps when they choose to proceed.

Customers should receive a consistent explanation and a respectful experience regardless of their decision. If a question falls outside your knowledge or authority, you are expected to check it rather than improvise. Good coordination starts by recognising the difference between what you know, what you need to confirm and what another person must decide.

You will record outcomes carefully so that the campaign team can understand what happened. A useful note identifies the relevant fact, the action required and who needs the information. It should reduce confusion rather than create another task for someone else.

The promise to your colleagues

Coordination means making your contribution usable by other people. On a typical week, your responsibilities may include:

  • Reviewing the current account brief and approved campaign updates.
  • Preparing the information or materials required for planned activity.
  • Communicating with customers professionally during in-person engagement.
  • Recording outcomes, questions and next actions accurately.
  • Escalating unresolved matters through the correct internal channel.
  • Confirming when an allocated follow-up has been completed.
  • Sharing repeated customer feedback with enough context to be useful.
  • Contributing factual information during campaign or account reviews.
  • Helping colleagues apply a confirmed update consistently.

Priorities can change, and some days will produce several small commitments at once. You should be able to organise them, communicate a delay early and avoid allowing an action to disappear because a more visible task arrived.

How your remit can grow

Early development focuses on account knowledge, communication, records and dependable follow-through. When those foundations are consistent, you may support more detailed reporting, campaign preparation or coordination between the people responsible for delivery.

Future responsibility depends on performance, judgement and business need. The coordinator title does not mean that you will immediately own a client portfolio or manage an account alone. It gives you a practical route to demonstrate that you can be trusted with increasingly important information and actions.

We are looking for someone who is precise without becoming inflexible, confident without making unsupported promises and commercially aware without compromising the customer experience. You should respond constructively to feedback and be willing to correct a mistake promptly.

Submit your CV using LinkedIn and include your practical availability. Draw attention to one task, event or project where other people relied on your coordination. Explain what information you managed, how you followed through and how you knew the outcome was complete.
