Client Accounting Manager

KC Group is working with a leading firm who are looking for a Client Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified professional to develop their career across accountancy and business advisory, while building strong, long-term relationships with clients across the rural sector.

As Client Accounting Manager, you’ll take responsibility for a mixed portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting, tax and commercial advice.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the preparation and completion of annual accounts and business tax computations for a varied client portfolio.
  • Providing advice on annual remuneration planning and profit forecasts.
  • Advising clients on capital taxes and reviewing VAT returns.
  • Building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships.
  • Identifying opportunities to add value through tax planning and wider commercial advice.
  • Supporting clients with their broader business objectives and helping them achieve their goals.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team, helping them develop their skills and careers.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical accountancy skills with a genuine interest in working with rural and agricultural businesses. You’ll ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with clients in the agricultural and rural business sector.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop lasting client relationships.
  • A commercial mindset and the confidence to identify opportunities to add value.
  • Sound working knowledge of Excel, Xero and Sage.
