Willis Global is an international recruitment specialist operating across Freight Forwarding, Customs & Trade Compliance, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Aviation & Aerospace sectors. We are expanding our team and seeking a sales-driven, commercially minded Client Acquisition Manager to manage full-cycle client acquisition, expanding existing accounts, and positioning the agency as a trusted recruitment partner across target markets. Based at offices in Braintree, Essex, this role suits someone who is proactive, confident, and able to thrive in a target and relationship-driven environment.
The role would suit someone with 2 – 4 years of B2B business development / sales experience.

Role Purpose
Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director, the Client Acquisition Manager is responsible for driving new client acquisition, expanding existing accounts, and positioning the agency as a trusted recruitment partner across target markets. This role blends strategic outreach, relationship building, and commercial negotiation to deliver sustained revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition
- Identify, target, and engage prospective clients across agreed sectors and geographies.
- Conduct outbound outreach via calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn and networking.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities with clear forecasting.
Client Relationship Development
- Establish relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, and senior stakeholders.
- Understand client structures, hiring challenges, and workforce plans to position relevant solutions.
- Provide market insights, salary benchmarking, and recruitment strategy recommendations.
- Ensure a seamless handover to delivery teams once assignments are secured.

Commercial Management
- Negotiate terms of business and fee structures for contingency search.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, and revenue forecasting.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform commercial strategy.
Collaboration & Internal Alignment
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
- Support marketing with content ideas, case studies, and sector insights.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BD processes, messaging, and value propositions.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven track record in B2B business development
- Recruitment industry experience beneficial however not essential as full training of the industry will be offered
- Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating fees and contracts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage a high-activity sales pipeline and prioritise effectively.
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and influencing decision-makers.
