Client Advisor

We are seeking a Client Advisor to join a busy Commercial Insurance team within a well-established independent brokerage. You will provide high-quality service and technical support to clients, helping to manage their insurance needs from new business through to renewals and mid-term adjustments.

Working closely with Client Executives and insurers, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent client outcomes while developing your technical knowledge of commercial insurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
  • Provide technical administration across commercial insurance policies
  • Liaise with insurers to secure appropriate cover for clients
  • Handle client queries, claims support, and policy updates
  • Ensure accurate records and compliance with FCA requirements
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
  • Support payment processing and premium finance arrangements

About You

  • Experience in a regulated or FCA-compliant environment
  • Background in general insurance or strong client service experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach

Desirable

  • Knowledge of commercial insurance
  • Progress towards CII qualifications
  • Experience using Acturis or similar systems
