Are you working within Commercial Insurance Broking and looking for a role where you can take more ownership of your clients, broaden your technical experience and continue progressing your career?
We're working with an established Chartered Insurance Broker with over 30 years' experience supporting businesses across a broad range of commercial sectors. They're looking to strengthen their Birmingham team with the addition of a Client Advisor.
There's flexibility around the level they're looking for. You might be developing your career as a Commercial Account Handler, or already operating as an experienced Handler or Account Manager and looking for your next move.
The role
You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day servicing of an established portfolio of commercial clients, working across a varied mix of commercial risks and building relationships with both clients and insurers.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing renewals, quotations and mid-term adjustments
- Advising clients on appropriate commercial insurance solutions
- Building strong relationships with clients and insurer partners
- Negotiating competitive terms with insurers
- Identifying opportunities to develop existing client relationships
- Supporting clients throughout the claims process
- Maintaining accurate policy documentation and FCA compliance
It's a varied position where you'll have the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge while taking genuine responsibility for your clients.
What we're looking for
We're keen to speak with people who have previous experience within Commercial Insurance Broking and a good understanding of commercial insurance products.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous Commercial Insurance Broking experience
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Good knowledge of commercial insurance products
- Strong organisation and attention to detail

Acturis experience would be beneficial, but isn't essential. Cert CII or progress towards the qualification would be advantageous, but again isn't essential.
