JOB PURPOSE

We are hiring a Mandarin Speaking Client Advisor to join our team at Manchester Exchange Square on a 16-hour per week basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about luxury retail, client experience, and building lasting relationships through exceptional service.

As an ambassador for Burberry, you will create personalised and memorable experiences for new and existing clients, helping them discover collections that reflect their individual style and needs. Working closely with the store leadership team, you will combine commercial awareness with outstanding service to drive client loyalty and contribute to the success of the store. Flexibility across working days is essential to support the needs of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver a personalised luxury experience that inspires clients and strengthens long-term relationships.
  • Use your Mandarin and English language skills to connect with a diverse client base and provide exceptional service.
  • Share expert product knowledge and styling advice to support clients in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Contribute to store performance by achieving individual and team sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain a strong client portfolio through proactive client engagement and follow-up.
  • Support visual presentation, operational excellence, and a collaborative team environment within the store.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service within luxury, premium retail, hospitality, or a client-focused environment.
  • Fluent Mandarin and English language skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for building meaningful client relationships.
  • An interest in fashion, craftsmanship, and luxury products, with a desire to continually develop product knowledge.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and drive sales.
  • Flexible and adaptable, looking for 16 hours per week with availability to work across different days in line with business needs.
