Job Description

  • Proactively engage with existing and prospective clients to understand their financial objectives, risk appetite, and investment horizons.
  • Provide expert advice on a range of banking products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, insurance, and wealth management solutions.
  • Develop and implement personalized financial plans and strategies for clients, ensuring alignment with their evolving needs.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell suitable products and services, contributing to the growth of the bank's client portfolio.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios and provide timely updates on market trends and product performance.
  • Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product specialists, credit) to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and prepare relevant reports.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and advisory skills.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a client-facing role within the banking or financial services industry, preferably in wealth management or retail banking.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, investment instruments, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial information and provide clear, concise advice.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PCE, FIMM, Takaful) are highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
