Job Title: Client and Recruitment Consultant

Work Location

Based at our Head office in Isle of Sheppey

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting and managing our existing workforce across project sites, while also growing and strengthening our labour supply division. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach who can contribute to the continued growth of our Civil Groundworks, Rail and Water sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full 360 recruitment cycle, sourcing and placing candidates to meet project requirements
  • Allocating and coordinating labour across multiple project sites
  • Building and maintaining a strong pool of reliable workers
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all recruitment and job enquiries
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
  • Proactively approaching new clients to generate business opportunities
  • Attending industry events and meetings to build networks and identify opportunities
  • Managing accommodation and logistics for workers on projects requiring travel
  • Booking and coordinating with labour to ensure all inductions and compliance are completed

Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ recruitment experience within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction roles, qualifications, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Commercially driven with a proven ability to build candidate and client network
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of a new function
  • Full UK driving licence (essential due to location and site visits)

Job Types

Full – time, permanent

Salary

£30,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + Commission

Schedule

Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
40 hours per week, with flexibility considered
