Client Associate

Edinburgh (Hybrid)
£26k-30k DoE

About the Role

Storm ID is an award-winning Edinburgh-based digital transformation consultancy that helps organisations accelerate their use of digital, data and AI. We believe in tailored solutions, assembling expert teams to address each client's unique needs. Our services span strategy, design, technology and data & AI, ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery of platforms, products and services with real-world impact.

What sets us apart is our commitment to long-lasting and sustainable, data-driven, user-centred change. We enjoy close collaboration between our teams, ensuring projects move smoothly from discovery to design to delivery. We recognise the crucial link between digital and data, creating intelligent services that leverage both. We work with a range of clients across the Scottish and UK public and private sectors.

This is an entry-level role—you don't need to have done this before. We're looking for someone curious, commercially aware and ready to learn. You'll be supporting a portfolio of client accounts while building real skills in relationship management, commercial thinking and digital delivery.

AI is changing how we work. From day one you’ll be expected to use AI tools to augment your work—whether that’s drafting communications, preparing reports or researching client opportunities.

What You'll Do

Your day-to-day will span client relationships, commercial management and delivery support:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients, acting as their first point of contact at Storm
  • Scope small projects, prepare quotes and help write statements of work in plain English
  • Manage revenue: forecasting, invoicing and maintaining hosting and support contracts
  • Work alongside project managers to support successful delivery
  • Research and identify opportunities for upselling to clients based on market trends and innovation
  • Identify opportunities to grow client accounts and escalate promising leads
  • Develop your knowledge of Storm's full range of digital services

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
