Opportunity at Loughborough Practice

If you are versatile, enjoy a fast-paced environment, providing great customer care and working in a team, we have just the opportunity for you at our Loughborough practice...

This is currently contracted as a part-time role offering 28.5 hours per week, via advanced shift patterns, spanning our opening hours 8am-7pm, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 9-12pm. Overtime for holiday cover is shared amongst the team.

What your typical day will look like!

Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets, and the practice team will be critical to your success. You will be mainly located on our surgery reception desk, being the friendly and welcoming face for the client and their pets when they arrive at the Practice!

The Attributes Required

  • You have the ability and desire to learn and continuously develop, and can adapt well to change.
  • You are IT literate, with experience of Word, Office 365, Excel and ideally, customer relationship databases or platforms.
  • You are a great communicator and listener.
  • You are able to guide and advise clients by keeping yourself fully up-to-speed with the practice services and protocols.
  • You are calm, attentive, and always focused on the clients’ needs and the best interests of the patients.
  • You are flexible and a problem-solver, always trying to find ways to resolve difficult situations and deliver high standards of customer service.
  • You are resilient and can prioritize your workload.
  • You will bring enthusiasm and drive to your role.
  • Your passion for customer service is matched with your love of pets.
  • Along with your fellow colleagues, you create a welcoming, positive, and friendly atmosphere in the Practice.

Salary

From £12.71 an hour depending on experience; salary reviewed at 6 months then annually thereafter.
