Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This isn't your average reception role. As a multi-site position across our three Ayrshire practices, no two days are ever the same. One day you'll be helping a worried owner, the next you'll be welcoming excited new puppy owners or supporting one of our busy clinical teams. You'll need to be organised, adaptable and happy to jump into whatever the day brings.

We're looking for someone with a real passion for customer care, who enjoys working in a busy environment and isn't afraid to get stuck in. Most importantly, we want someone with plenty of personality, someone who takes pride in their work, builds lasting relationships with our clients, and brings positive energy to the team every single day.

What you’ll Do

  • Be the friendly, welcoming face that greets every client and their pet with a smile.
  • Build strong relationships with our clients, providing exceptional service from the moment they walk through the door.
  • Develop a great knowledge of our services, products and Complete Care plans, so you can confidently support and guide our clients.
  • Keep calm under pressure and deliver a fantastic experience, even on our busiest days.
  • Work closely with our vets, nurses and wider team to ensure every client and patient receives the very best care.
  • Bring enthusiasm, positivity and a genuine love of animals to everything you do.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, confidently working across our three Ayrshire practices and supporting wherever you're needed.
  • Help create a fun, friendly and welcoming environment for clients, their pets and your colleagues every day.
